Instructions:
With a pack of three-by-five cards and a few crayons or markers, your child can create a virtually endless menagerie of crazy creatures.
All you have to do to start is place the blank side of three cards horizontally, one above the other, on a table.
Now have your child draw a head on the top card, a matching body on the middle card, and a set of legs on the bottom card.
You now have your prototypes; your child can now create dozens of matching heads, bodies, and feet that combine in startling and hilarious ways.
After ten or twelve creatures, have your child stop and do a little mixing and matching. A robot head with a furry body and a set of webbed feet?
Odder things still await your child – every new member added to the Creature Deck increases the strange possibilities.
A word of warning: The heads must all be placed on approximately the same spots on all the cards, and the same goes for the other body parts. You may want to help with the first few cards that come after the prototype; before long, your kid will get the hang of it.
